I LOVE this bathroom that has been popping up on design blogs over the past few days. It is a powder room in the penthouse of this 1970s Mexican colonial-style building features a glass-bottomed floor over an abandoned 15-story elevator shaft (according to Apartment Therapy). I love the unique idea of using a historic detail of the home and incorporating it into the design. It would be great to have a feature like this in my home – I’d love it, but I’m not sure my fiancé or my Dad would be too thrilled with the idea. So, for now, I can just dream and appreciate the view in this photo!
